On this next leg of today’s flights I am sitting in seat 2J, on this Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft bound for Tel Aviv from Delhi.

Upon boarding we are offered a choice of hot or cold towel (I choose hot), buttermilk or OJ (I don’t choose either), and slippers, amenity kits, Tumi Pajamas, and the menu.

Shower my after take-off the drinks service begins – Ginger Ale and some nuts and papadam chips for me, followed by a herb and almond-crusted fish main and two kinds of desserts. It’s ok. Nothing flash. I actually get 2 main meals as I was served the wrong one initially 🤪.

For the remaining 4 out of the 6 hours of the flight I extend the seat into a fully-flat bed and sleep uninterrupted until the announcement comes in that we are landing.

One point or note is that one of the flight attendants that is in my section is quite curt snd SQ-efficient in her interactions with me – a contrast to my previous flight where all flight attendants were very warm.
