Hostel Review: Mad Monkey Downtown, Potts Point, Sydney

I have made a mistake booking my Airbnb leaving out the first night so when I try to book an additional night it is triple the price so look for a cheaper alternative nearby.

This hostel has private rooms for half the price so grab one for a night’s stay. The reception staff are very friendly and the room (with shared bathroom) is ok.

Very simple room

But there are stinky work boots and smelly socks in the hallways which is kind of revolting so make a complaint about it but nothing is done to rectify the stench.

But the location and friendly staff make for any unpleasantness….

Probably my first and last stay at a hostel 😳.
