It has been a few weeks since I lost my Priority Pass unlimited card tied to my now defunct Thailand-issued Citibank Prestige card. So it has been a while since I was last in a lounge.

But today I am flying SQ with my partner who is Krisflyer Gold, and therefore we can access this lounge together. I have been here before, but usually I head straight for the buffet with loads of delicious Taiwanese and Singaporean delights but today I just dont ‘feel it’, so instead choose a small piece of cheesecake, peacan pie tartlet, and a Baileys on ice.

Yes, after 2 months being lounge-free, I have started to get used to arriving to the airport a little later, walking up and down the shops, and especially at Changi, checking out the numerous attractions on offer – the butterfly, cactus, and sunflower gardens, movie theatres, amazing shops, games arcades, and masses of food options.

No, I have lost my lounge mojo for now. After 45 mins, I am off.
