I am sitting in Premium Economy seat 33D, on this Singapore Airlines A380-800 aircraft bound for Singapore. The small cabin is full, but there is plenty of space in this wider seat with extra legroom.

Shortly after take-off, hot wet towels are handed out followed by Champagne in plastic flutes, and then another drink service. I go for a Singapore Sling. This is served with 2 packets of premium almonds and cashews.
During the first meal service I watch the first of two movies during the 8 hour flight – “Blinded by the Light’ followed by “Luce” – both excellent movies. The main meal is a curry with a glass noodle salad and ice cream. The second is a chicken quiche. Nothing special.

I manage to get about 3 hours of much needed sleep; Premium Economy helps….
We arrive shortly ahead of schedule.
