As my Qantas Club membership is about to expire in a couple of months, I don’t hesitate making a beeline for a Martini and delicious meal in the main restaurant upon entry with my Jetstar boarding pass.
I usually go for an Espresso Martini but go straight today, not in the mood for any more caffeine. It’s not bad.
The chef’s made-to-order dishes of the day are a Chicken Laksa and a Stewed Pork dish, but instead I enjoy a delicious fatty lamb stew. Oh wow it’s awesome.

Around 6pm the lounge really starts to get crowded. Thank goodness they are soon to open a dedicated First/Plat QF lounge which will ease some of the congestion.
So before it gets too crazy I make my way to the dresser buffet for a chocolate slice thing and a honey cake in a glass 🍯. Both are great.

Feeling full to the brim I find a quiet spot and read a couple of newspapers before making my way to the lounge.
