I was planning on trying out the Turkish Airlines Lounge today, but as I was about to register the reception told me although I can enter, they are currently doing renovation works so it may be bothersome. I thank her and decide to visit the Oman Lounge instead.

And a great decision to do so as it is relatively empty, and the food as always is outstanding. In fact, as soon as I sit down, I get up again and fill a plate with delicious middle eastern and Thai dishes from the buffet. Think Hummus, Pita bread, curries, fish cakes, and noodles. Yum! And the drink selection is pretty good as well. Sparkling red and white, port, Baileys…all of my favourites. And since I’m shortly flying Scoot (with no meals), I take advantage of the offerings.

I also use the 2 or so hours to catch up on some work. The wifi is strong, so I am able to do quite a bit.
