Our 6th or 7th or even possibly 8th stay here. Although we purchase the entry level room, as Hhonors Diamond members and return guests, we are upgraded to the Lagoon Direct Entry King Suite (1116) and it is sweet.
Not much to review as it is exactly the same room as last time (on our request). We have a friend staying with us so a rollaway bed is made in the living room.
A simple fruit basket with hand written welcome card is placed on the table in the living room, followed by 2 birthday cakes the following day to celebrate 2 birthdays being celebrated.
We enjoy afternoon tea, evening canapés and cocktails, and breakfast, all complimentary thanks to our Diamond status.
The pool is unusually cold during our stay – can’t remember it being like this – so much so that we don’t really use it.
Service is generally outstanding. Especially from the non-guest facing staff (pool boys, gardeners, housekeeping) who always smile and greet us with a warm ‘hello’ whenever we pass. Ms. Simponi at Rin restaurant during breakfast is especially lovely.
We were thinking of going back to Conrad Maldives next year but decided we will return to Conrad Bali instead.
