I am sitting in middle aisle seat 46D, on this Singapore Airlines A330-300 aircraft bound for Singapore. Interestingly, the liverage is ‘Star Alliance’ – and it is the first time I have flown in one as such. There are 2 empty seats next to me so I can comfortably stretch out during the duration of the flight.
I have pre-ordered a Hindu Non-Vegetarian meal, which comes out first with all the other special order meals. Its kind of a shame I ate so much in the lounge as it is quite good – a fish curry with rice, Dahl, and Chapatti, yogurt, a sweet Indian dessert, and a Singapore Sling (or rather 2 😜).
The flight time is just under 2 hours and choose the new Ted Bundy ‘docudrama’ with a pretty decent cast to help the time pass by. I have been eyeing it on the past few flights not thinking I would like it but it is excellent.
The flight is delayed an hour taking-off so we land an hour late. No biggie – I’m in no rush. There’s also a thunderstorm over Singapore so we are told by the captain we need to circle before landing for another 15 mins.
