Lovely hotel in the downtown Zhongshan district of Taipei. As HHonors Diamond members we have been upgraded to a large King Corner Suite, and presented with a lovely fruit basket welcome amenity from the management.

As Diamond HHonors members we are also given a voucher for 2 drinks at the lobby bar which we utilise for a house red wine and a green tea.

The room is indeed spacious and has a separate lounge room, with Nespresso machine, and a fridge with complimentary beer and softdrinks.

The bathroom is a standout with a standalone bath that has a corner view of the city below.

Service is excellent especially at reception where we are warmly greeted each time we walk past.

The gym on the top floor is small but functional and complimentary breakfast in the main restaurant on the 2nd floor is excellent.

It’s a tie between this hotel and its sister property, Hilton Taipei, in Banciao, Taipei New City. Which to choose on my next trip………
