I really like this lounge at Bangkok airport – besides the amazing middle-Eastern food and coffee, the staff are very friendly and it is relatively quiet – well, at least the times I have been here, and today is no exception.

Thanks to my unlimited entry Priority Pass which I receive as part of my Citibank Thailand Prestige Visa Card benefits, I enjoy my 4th or 5th entrance to the lounge.

After I find a space to sit, I make my way to the buffet and am so happy to see my favourite Hummus and pita bread which I enjoy with dates and prunes, lemongrass and pumpkin soup, lamb kebab, vegetable croquette, and other delicacies.

As it is only 7.30am in the morning, I steer away from the fully-decked out bar, instead helping myself to a double-espresso with a hint of steamed milk.

I spend about an hour here catching up on emails on one of the two Mac computers here, and researching my next ‘big’ trip to Morocco in April next year 🙂

And it’s off to the boarding gate…
