I am sitting in window seat 1J on this 1-2 Business seat configuration Embraer 190 Kenya Airlines flight to Nairobi. The flight number is the same as the one going over as it is considered a circle-route with the opposite leg stopping for refuelling in Burundi.

Sitting at the front of the plane I overhear they have put 3 people in the same seat. I guess it will be a delayed departure…

And it is by about 30 mins or so. During this time I open up my tray table from the side of the seat but when it come time to take off, it doesn’t fit back into its slot and the flight attendant says not to worry, just leave it like that. It makes it slightly uncomfortable for the remainder of the trip.

Once in the air and the seatbelt sign is switched off, the meal service comes around. It is super basic – a dry beef roll and piece of banana cake with a glass of white wine.

Service is OK.
