Hotel Review: Hilton Millenium Bangkok

So the check-in didn’t turn out to be typical Hilton standard. No acknowledgment whilst waiting at the lobby desk to be checked in from anyone behind the desk so after a few minutes went to the lounge on the top floor to try our luck there. Although we did an online check-in and arrived an hour after the 3pm check-in time, our designated room was not ready as, we were told, the previous guests paid for a late checkout. Ok, so did the hotel prepare another room for us? No…so we waited about 20 mins for our room.

But things did get better. We were upgraded to a large King Panoramic Suite, slightly outdated but spacious. A hotel Trainee showed as the features of the room which was very sweet.

After using the gym and steam/sauna, we went to the lounge for evening cocktails. The drink selection was large, but the food selection is not comparable to most other Hiltons in SE Asia. Nonetheless the view from the roof was lovely.

We used Eatigo.com to score 50% off a late 9pm dinner at Yuan Chinese restaurant. Flawless and absolutely delicious with amazing attentive service.

The next morning we ate breakfast in the all-day dining restaurant Flow. As always the food was delicious and plentiful.

A late 2pm checkout completed our stay.
