I am greeted warmly by Marcus and Telisa (the Cabin Manager) as I enter the plane towards seat 11D on this relatively empty Jetstar Airbus A320 flight EK513 bound back home to Bangkok.

I am on a ‘Starter Plus’ fare, which gives me QFF status credits and points, a $10 inflight voucher, and a muffin and coffee. I buy a small bottle of red and a Trail Mix with the voucher.

Knowing that there is no inflight entertainment, I have brought along my iPad and am determined to finish watching Teenwolf Season 5 as it is getting on my nerves and I want to move on to House of Cards Season 5 ASAP.

The flight seems much longer than a little over 2 hours. Maybe I am just tired. Suddenly the space between the seats is too narrow. The cabin is freezing. I’m uncomfortable and want to get off.

Thankfully we land after a bumpy descent On time.
