During check-in I requested an Emergency Exit seat and was given seat 48K, a window seat on the 2-4-2 configuration Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

This is one of those flights where you have to take a bus to the plane in order to board. A tad bit annoying.
Soon after takeoff, the friendly flight attendant checks if I’d like to move to the adjacent bulkhead aisle seat as the whole row is empty. I accept.
The flight is very short but there is a meal service and I have pre-ordered a seafood meal which is simple, yet delicious – a seafood mornay puff, and a sweet bean bun. This is served with coffee.
I don’t bother with the entertainment system – I have brought my iPad and catch up on an episode of the tv series I am currently watching.
