This is truly a top notch lounge – definitely up there with The Qantas Lounge in Changi and just a small drop below The Pier First Class lounge at Hong Kong airport.
A warm welcome and smile greets me as I enter to get my boarding pad scanned. Once in, I make a beeline to the Barista and order a double Macchiato which is delivered within a minute. Whilst I wait I pop a piece of moist banana cake on a side dish with a Strawberry smoothie and a small fruit salad. I grab the paper and find a secluded spot on a marble topped bench.
The Neil Perry breakfast begins at 8.30am, and although I could partake of the buffet, I decide to wait and boy is it worth it! At 8.30am on the dot a delicious pair of poached eggs on crusty sourdough topped with grilled zucchini, cheese, olive oil, and mint leave is delivered. I enjoy this with an OJ and sparkling.
A great start to my journey ahead!
