Very happy to have been upgraded to a business class seat – and front row at that, on this A321 all economy-service flight. To be honest I am not sure what Cathay is doing but don’t complain. It is a business class cabin for sure but with economy meals and service for the first 6 rows in a dedicated cabin, and then normal economy seats for the rest. Perhaps it is for their Premium passengers?

Meal service starts 10 minutes after take-off with a choice of either pork cutlet on rice or chicken pasta. I go for the latter but after a spoonful decide I’d rather fill my stomach on top notch food from The Pier First class lounge at Hong Kong airport shortly after I land.
