This is my first stay at this hotel – my preference is Conrad but thought I’d give it a go.

Not bad, a bit dated in many aspects, but nice service and an upgrade to a King Executive ‘plus’ room on the 22nd floor.

The Executive lounge is quiet and has an above average selection of canapés. I particularly like the vegetarian lasagna and goats cheese. Breakfast also has a nice array of options including smoked salmon, brioches, and over-sized chocolate croissants.

The pool, gym, sauna and steam room are in good working order, although there are some renovations blocking the normal entrance to the gym.

Location-wise, this hotel surpasses that of Conrad at Suntec City, but in terms of amenities and rooms, Conrad is the winner.
