Had an absolutely fabulous stay at this hotel last weekend. Possibly my 4th (or 5th?) stay, and felt like I was coming home (again).

I book a cash and points award standard room for 4000 Hhonors per night and a nominal +\- SG$50 and am upgraded upon check-in to the highest category – a one-bedroom ‘Terrace’ suite.

   
    
 The view from the room is stunning – a 180 degree view of the Petronis Towers and city sky-scrapers. I look on the Hilton website and note this room is selling at SG$800 p/n!
  
 As an Hhonors Diamond member I get all the trimmings – upgrades, breakfast, lounge access, cocktails and canapés. Yet it is the service that stands out – it’s amazing here with friendly smiles and enthusiastic interns ‘manning’ the lounge. In fact from check-in (and the wonderful DoubleTree cookie) to passing staff at all touch points of the hotel, and a fond farewell at the lounge on my last day, there is a genuine sense of ‘welcome’ that many other hotels cannot emulate.

Will I be back? Definitely!
