Flight Review: MI324 – SIN – KUL

It’s been a while since I was last on a Silk Air flight and am happy this is a short one – under an hour from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur for a long weekend Staycation!
I booked this flight reasonably last minute using a ‘Saver’ Award – only 12,750 Krisflyer miles (a 15% discount when booking online from the normal 15K points return) and +\- SG$120 taxes and charges – a bargain as paid flights were in the vicinity of SG$350 on this Public Holiday long weekend.

My seat is one behind the bulkhead 6C, making an easy escape upon landing in KL. I am lucky to have the whole row to myself as the plane is about 40% empty.

The flight itself it pretty uneventful. Service is polite, quick, and efficient. The meal service consists of tea, coffee, or water and a refreshing towelettes. I choose water.

The Silkair Studio (wifi entertainment platform) is running so I have enough time to watch the opening of a new drama ‘Madame Secretary’ and a couple of Michael Buble songs.

And as quickly as we took off, it is time to land.
