We get the coveted seat 1A and 1C on this B737-800 aircraft – one of a few delivered to the airline earlier this year so the seats and cabin are relatively brand-spanking new.
This time the cabin is mostly full, but we are still treated as if we are the only guests on board – lovely! We are offered pre-flight drinks – this time alcoholic ones as well, and I go for a sneaky glass of white.
Dinner is either beef or fish so I choose beef, seasoned with a Sambal paste on rice with sautéed cabbage. Garlic bread again, which complements the smoked salmon entree nicely.
I start a movie but fall asleep halfway for a good 2 out of the 3.5 hour flight.
