On this return flight from Matsu Island (Nangan) I am sitting in seat 20C – the last row at the back of the plane (yet the first to alight as entry/exit is from the back of the plane 🙌) on this ATR72-600 propeller plane domestic flight from Nangan to Taipei.

The flight itself is very short – about 35 mins (as opposed to a 7-hour boat ride) and again has zero amenities except for a very quick tea/coffee/juice service (I take a coffee).

I use the bathroom and am surprised at how big the space is. I think I’m the only person who uses it during the flight.

Landing is fun – very bumpy and great views – a perfect mix 🙌.

We land way ahead of schedule.
