For the last night of our stay in Bangkok we have decided on using points and cash at a hotel that has a lot of memories for us.

Prior to check-in I contact the GM and ask if he will extend an upgrade to the Executive floor and he agrees, so our room is now on the 28th floor with sweeping views over the river. Although smaller than our room at Anantara, we are welcomed with a large Happy Birthday greeting on the bed for my partner’s birthday.

During our stay we use the gym, pool, steam and sauna facilities, afternoon tea and evening canapés in the lounge, and complimentary breakfast (for Gold and above Hhonors members) in the main restaurant on the ground floor.

Overall it is a short, but sweet stay.
