I have booked this boutique hotel through booking.com as it stated something like a 55% off sale so get hooked and buy the Memoire Suite for 4 nights totaling around USD 235.

It is a huge suite – around 70 SQM with a separate lounge room and a swinging sofa. The bathroom is also oversized with a separate shower and bath (which I don’t use), and 2 sinks.

The TV doesn’t work the first day and when I ask reception to fix it they say it’s too late and they will send a technician up to the room the next morning, which they do.

The hotel features a swimming pool, small gym (both of which I only use once), and a massage/spa Centre.

Buffet style breakfast is served daily and is quite simple but the service is great – in fact throughout the hotel the staff are very friendly and genuinely warm.

The hotel provides a free transfer to and from the airport and just before I leave to return home, the reception asks me if I have the laundry bag (which I do as I usually put my dirty clothes in them to take home to wash). But I am told it can’t be taken out of the room as it is a recyclable bag and state it will cost USD15 if I want to purchase it 😳. I decline 🫣.

This is a good option for a non-luxury, yet clean and friendly boutique hotel close to the city Centre.
