I am sitting in ‘broken’ Business class seat 7A, a window seat, on this Boeing 787-10 EVA airlines flight from Brisbane bound for Taipei. it is a 1-2-1 configuration so all seats have aisle access.

I say ‘broken’ as at check-in the agent mentions that the tray table is malfunctioning and asks if I would prefer seat 1K. I decline as it would be too close to the galley and noisy. All I want to do on this flight is sleep.

As soon as I board, I request a pair of Jason Wu designer pajamas, get changed, decline the drink and meal services, and wait for the plane to take off so I can recline into a fully-flat bed and sleep.

And sleep I do, for practically the whole 7.5 hour flight. 😅
