It has been many years since I last entered this lounge. Today I am able to do so as my partner has gifted me an entry pass for a QF flight from SYD to BNE

Entry is easy with a quick scan of my boarding pass, and the gentleman at the front tells me the gate number I need to go to when boarding commences.

Despite being a very large lounge, it is relatively empty, so I choose a spot near the dining tables and head to the buffet, which is essentially a do-it-yourself make-a-sandwich bar. I had a Ruben for lunch, so have a salad and cakes with a decaf coffee instead.

The ambiance is very pleasant, the staff exceptionally friendly, and the complimentary Wi-Fi strong. I spend most of my hour and a half watching Netflix and checking emails.
