I am sitting in Business Class cabin seat 2G, an aisle seat, on this Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300ER flight in a 2-3-2 configuration bound for Istanbul.

Both of the seats next to me are empty so I decide to sit in the middle, away from the foot traffic of the flight attendants.

I was worried at first thinking these seats do not fully recline to a bed, but they do. There is ample storage space as well, and buttons that do lots of different things.

Shortly after boarding, amenity kits, slippers, & headphones are handed out, and drink orders are taken. I choose a herbal tea as it is already quite late and don’t feel like drinking alcohol.

The food menus come next and they are quite substantial – it is late, but I have heard how famous the food is on Turkish Airlines so I order the Seafood entree and Main, both are good, and a cake of sorts for dessert. Overall the food is good, but not amazing.

It is already close to midnight my time and a flight attendant offers me a turn down service which I accept, and manage to sleep for about 6 or 7 hours with few interruptions and wake up to the sound of breakfast being served, but I decide not to eat as I’ll be on another flight soon.

We land on time.
