I am sitting in seat 11D, the first row of Business class on this Singapore Airlines Boeing B787-10 aircraft bound for Taipei, Taiwan. I think I have used 30K Krisflyer miles for this one-way flight.
This regional-class seat is extremely comfortable, with an oversized touch TV screen, numerous buttons and switches that do an array of things, noise cancelling headphones, and fully-flat bed functionality.

Shortly after take-off, service begins with a Singapore Sling and a packet of cashews and almonds. I continue with a ‘Silver Kris’ which is an original concoction of Champagne, Orange Liquor, and something else.

Lunch follows shortly after; I have pre-ordered via ‘Book the Cook’ Lobster Thermidore, which turns out to be a bit salty. The dessert though is delicious – some kind of Chocolate mousse cake, which I enjoy with a straight Baileys.

I extend the bed to fully-flat mode whilst watching ‘The Spencers’ on the Kris world system. Its a little bizarre – a different perspective on a few days in the life of Princess Diana.
We land on time.
