This is a new hotel that is still under renovation. To be honest this was not made clear during the reservation process but it was the best value in Bangkok out of the Hilton family at 15K points plus around THB 1500.
It takes 3 rooms before I agree on the final one on the 23rd floor, refurbished and smell-free. What do I mean? The first room stank of stale mould. The second room like an ashtray. Finally after going up and done the 2 slow elevators, I was upgraded to a refurbished room which was actually quite nice. Small, no bath, but adequate for a one-night’s stay.

Amenity-wise the pool is under construction, I didn’t bother checking out the gym, and no executive lounge, but there were drinks available from 6pm-7pm for Gold and Diamond members. I didn’t bother.

Breakfast the next morning was OK. Quite a fair selection. Complimentary for Diamond members so no complaints.

I think it is going to take a while before this hotel gets off the ground. No doubt the owners are forcing Hilton to occupy the available rooms at premium rates.
The front desk service was good though, considering the challenges they are facing. But doubtful I will stay here again; I prefer the other DT in Sukhumvit.
