Just over the border from Singapore, this is my 6th stay in this hotel in as many years. To be honest it is a ‘stay run’ as I need 30 nights per year to retain my Diamond status.

Is it worth it? Oh yes. For example on this stay it costs me about SGD 50 plus 9000 points (or 18000 points only) and for that I am upgraded to a huge 1 bedroom Executive Suite with seperate lounge room, and kitchen with washing machine/dryer combo! And evening canapés and cocktails AND breakfast either in the lounge or in the restaurant adjacent to the lobby.

And best of all is the lady who checks me in and remembers me in the queue by calling out my name before I even approach the desk. And it’s been 2 years since I last stayed here.

And I feel bad as I can’t even remember her name…..

The rest of the facilities are great. I don’t use the pool or gym during this stay, but I utilise the steam room and Jacuzzi.

A quick, yet relaxing stay!
