I can enter this lounge thanks to my Business class ticket to BKK on Eva Air. This is a shared lounge used by a number of airlines out of Amsterdam. It is very busy at first, so much so that non – business class (Priority Pass/Gold Elite etc) are turned away.

The first thing I do is take a shower – it is a long 12 hour flight and have not showered since earlier today. The shower room is basic, with limited facilities.

This ‘theme’ runs throughout the lounge where food is also limited. One hot pasta dish, a few hot pastry items, and salads. The drinks selection though is a winner.

I take a few bits and pieces and find a tight space shared with many others to sit dopiuwn and eat.

WiFi is good, and I use my time to catch up on FB and emails, and watch a episode of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ before making my way onto the gate.
