Lounge Review: Qantas Business Class Lounge, SYD International

Flying Qantas this evening, together with ever-extending Qantas Club card gives me access to this lounge. I last visited a couple of months back in early January. Nothing has changed, still a solid lounge product.

I make my way to one of the counter bar areas, pop my bag down at a vacant seat, and head towards the buffet. I help myself to a generous portion of lasagne, and colour the plate with some green beans and brocoli, and a beet salad. I choose an Australian Cab Sav to drink with it. The lasagne is slightly salty, but it has been ages since I last had a slice so finish it all.

Still feeling peckish I make a second round to the buffet, this time going for dips, cheese, olives, and a small chocolate brownie to have with a barista-made macchiato (and a tiny piece of Rocky Road).

The flight ahead is a good 7+ hours so decide to take a shower. It is spacious, with most amenities – no face cream etc as what you find in the CX ‘The Pier’ lounge at HKIA.

Feeling refreshed, I make my way to the gate.
