Six weeks later and I am back in this lounge thanks to my temporary trial Air NZ Gold Airpoints status, and today travelling on Thai Airways.

After I put my bag down in an unoccupied area of the lounge (easy to find as the lounge is relatively empty), I make my way over to the buffet and enjoy a number of Singaporean snacks and Thai favourites. I also try the signature cocktail of the day which is beautifully presented with a bunch of mint leaves.

I spend most of my time watching an episode of season three of Outlander (putting my Korean dramas on hold) before heading to the boarding gate.
