This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Perth, a few minutes walk away from the bus terminal, shopping centre district, and Perth main railway station.

I have scored an amazing rate of AUD 100 + 30,000 HHonors points for 2 nights (not per night) including upgrade to Queen Suite on the top (10th) floor, voucher for drinks and Tapas each night for 2 in the Adelphi Grill by the lobby, and breakfast each morning.

The room is slightly dated but large and functional, with separate lounge room, bedroom with Queen bed, and bathroom with separate bath and shower. Two TVs, a nespresso-type pod coffee machine are also in the room, and there is also a large, long balcony.

There is a good-sized gym which I use, and a pool which I don’t as it is just too hot outside and the pool is quite crowded.

The evening drinks and Tapas in the Grill downstairs are great, with a large selection for Diamond HHonors members. I enjoy my time here watching my latest Korean drama.

The one thing though, that stands out for me, is the exceptional service from all staff I have contact with. Just genuine, smiling, good-old Aussie friendliness. Something I miss living overseas…
