The hotel is located a few minutes by foot from Shin Beitou Station, and is a welcome relief it is not too far.

We are on a package rate which includes hot spring entry, breakfast and dinner in a Deluxe room. Upon check-in we are told we have been upgraded and our room is very u usual, with an in-room sauna, steam shower, and hot spring tub included!

Dinner is a set menu with a huge choice of mains. I go for the lamb shank pie with curry sauce and my partner chooses the stuffed squid. BYO alcohol has no corkage charge 😉.

The spa area is quite good with 3 kinds of baths, steam room, and sauna. Although it clearly states no-smoking there are some tattoo-clad gangsters smoking at a table.

Breakfast the next day is OK. Simple but serves its purpose.

All in all a nice getaway.
