I am sitting in seat 32C, an aisle seat with no seat in front of me on this Thai Airways Boeing 777-300 aircraft bound for Bangkok.

Boarding is about 20 mins late which causes some angst among some passangers. I’m OK – plenty of legroom for me setting the scene for a reasonable comfy flight.

I have pre-ordered a Hindu Meal. It is rice with chicken on one side and creamed spinach on the other. It’s not too bad. No wine today, just water and a coffee.

For most of the flight I watch an episode of the drama, ‘This Is Us’ season 2, on the tiny pull-out AV screen.

Service is very friendly and the flight attendants are attentive. That ‘ThaiAir smile’ seems to be re-emerging on my recent flights 😇.

Although we departed late, we land on time.
