I am originally sitting in the first row of Economy in middle seat 10B on this Jet Airways Boeing B737-800/900 flight bound for Mumbai. But as soon as the door shuts I notice the window seat next to my partner is empty so swap within the same row but without incident to seat 10F.

This bulkhead seat is quite narrow, and does not have any AV equipment so read ‘Origin’ by Dan Brown on my iPad.

A simple meal service consisting of a warm sausage pastry and chocolate square cake comes around shortly after take off, and it is not too bad.

As we departed about 30 minutes late we arrive late.
