This is my second time at this hotel. We check in late at around midnight and are escorted to our upgraded Suite named Snowdrop. The suite is absolutely stunning decorated in colonial era furniture and designs. The pictures above don’t really give it justice.
On the first morning we enjoy a simple breakfast in the executive Lounge on the 4th floor. There isn’t much there but I suppose it is enough to start the day. On the other hand breakfast on the second day is in the main restaurant and the selection of food is quite amazing. The Indian food in particular is delicious.
The facilities are quite good. There is a well-equipped gym, and a spa area with jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna.
Service is generally good but there are a few areas or touch points within the hotel where it could be improved, for example leaving the restaurant for breakfast on the 2nd day although there are number of Staff members by the entrance none say thank you or wishes us farewell.
The exception is Clementine – the Assistant FOM who is an absolute delight. And what a hard worker – she checks us in at midnight and is still there at 9.30 am the next morning!
Other than that in terms of the hotel’s design and amenities it is one of my favorite Hilton Hotels.
