This small boutique resort is a few minutes from one of the gates to the Masai Mara National Game Reserve in Kenya.

Travelling with a group of 6 friends, we have reserved 3 twin rooms, and they are more like villas – individual and spacious, with separate shower and claw bath, additional outdoor shower, and colourful Masai Mara patterned robes.

The resort itself has a pool, communal dining room, bar, and lovely views of wildlife meandering across the river.

The food is fantastic, with a heavy slant towards Indian cuisine. Service is wonderful.
