SQ is really a vastly superior product compared to TG (in Business Class anyway). From the seat, to exceptional service, and food offerings, it really is way up there with the best!

I am sitting in Business Class seat 14D on this Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-300 bound for Denpasar, Bali. Prior to takeoff a hot wet towel comes around and from a drinks tray I choose a glass of champagne.

Soon after a very bumpy takeoff the one-tray meal service comes around and I have pre-ordered Lobster Thermidor but it is a little salty. It comes with a Gravadlax and cucumber salad, cappuccino mousse cake (delicious!!) and for me, garlic bread. I have this with 2 small glasses of French white. And…with my dessert I have a double espresso with a shot of steamed milk and a Baileys 🤪.

There are only 2 flight attendants in the Business class cabin and as a result service is a little slow. I watch ‘Tomb Raider 2018’ for half the flight before reclining into a lie-flat bed for a snooze. The movie is pretty stupid / not as exciting as the original, but because there is a Japanese theme (I lived in Japan for 9 years), I persevere.

We land a little late.
