Hotel Review: Hilton Odaiba, Tokyo

This is my 5th or 6th stay at this hotel in as many years.

I arrive quite early at about 11am and make my way to the Executive Lounge to check-in. Although my original room is ready (a standard twin using 13,000 yen + 25000 Hhonors points), I am told that if I wait a few hours I will be upgraded to a Twin One-Bedroom Suite on the top floor with sweeping bay and bridge views. I accept!

Whilst I am waiting, I utilise the gym, pool, spa, and saunas (dry and steam) and am the only one here. The whole facility for myself.

Soon after I go back to the lounge to collect the key card to my room. And it is huge – loungeroom, bedroom, guest and ensuite bathrooms, bose stereo, Nespresso machine, 2 balconies. The list goes on.

During my stay I enjoy a small afternoon tea and later evening cocktails and canapes in the lounge. Breakfast the next day is in the main restaurant opposite the check-in lobby (although I could have used the lounge).

All in all  a great stay BUT am a little surprised there is no welcome amenity nor turn down service in the evening.
