I am sitting in seat 34A, 4 rows from the front and the first behind ‘Smile Class’ on this Airbus A320-200 Thai Smile Airways flight back to Bangkok from Yangon.

As soon as I sit down I fall into a deep sleep only to be woken up with, “Excuse me, Sir! Did you order a Seafood meal?” …………although I probably did, I shake my head and go back to sleep.

I wake up again only 15 minutes before landing when the captain announces preparations for landing.

Now that’s a first for me in a long while.

So in summary, no food and no drink (by choice), and no entertainment – a bit like flying a LCC, but great service and seat.
