A short bus ride from the gate and I arrive at the stairs of the plane.

I am sitting in seat 34H, an aisle seat on this Airbus A320-200 Thai Smile Airways flight bound for Yangon. My seat is the first behind ‘Business Class’ and has plenty of legroom. There is no AV screen but I have my iPad and will read an E-book on my Kindle app.

As soon as I sit down a lovely flight attendant comes over and confirms my seafood meal telling me I will be receiving it first! Yay!

It is a meal consisting of salmon and potato salad, water, juice, and a limited-time only Roselle-Ume sorbet. It is light and refreshing – a perfect size after my meal in the lounge.

The service on board is excellent. The flight attendants are very friendly and extremely polite.

We land before scheduled arrival time.
