Flying Silk Air Business Class gives me access to this lounge. It is pretty dark with zero ambiance (but then again aren’t at lounges like this?).
There is a simple buffet of basic hot and cold snacks so I give it a go and try the tuna salad, rice and chicken dish, and a kind of creme brûlée from the fridge. I don’t eat it all – would rather leave some room for the food on the flight.
The internet in here is dedicated and strong, and there are 4 PCs that work (!) as well as a tiny selection of magazines and newspapers.
It is like a fridge in here – freezing. Luckily I have my trusty hoodie to keep me warm.
Oh – is that the boarding call?
And I’m off…..
