Located in the country-side province of Utrecht, Amsterdam, this resort-style Hilton is not for those wanting to be centrally located to the tourist sights in Amsterdam. Instead, it offers a peaceful place to relax and revive, thanks to its onsite golf course, swimming pool, and spa facilities.

My room is not upgraded due to full occupancy but I am given a complimentary late checkout of 6pm if required. It is slightly dated, with a view to the car park, but is spacious with bath and balcony.

With no Executive lounge, as a Platinum Hhonors guest I am given a drink voucher which I exchange for a Red Bull, and breakfast, which is standard Hilton.

The facilities are quite good – the indoor pool is large, the Steam room and sauna area clean.

Most impressive though is the service. The lovely lady at reception is a delight and extremely patient and helpful when I quiz her on what to do in the area.
