This is my first time to fly Thai Lion Air, a LCC from Thailand. The tickets are dirt cheap – SG$118 return with perfect flight timings for me.

I am seated in 6C, on this Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The seats are a little narrow, but the flight is only a little over 2 hours so bearable.
There is no entertainment so luckily I have brought my trusty iPad with downloaded newspapers and Kindle to keep me occupied. 
About 25 mins after takeoff, I am surprised when the flight attendant comes around with a snack! Is this an LCC?
A short while after the ‘pay-for-food’ service begins, and I decide not to get anything but if I did, I would choose the fried rice and bottled water for a bargain SG$6. 
All in all the flight is OK.
