Flight review: TG 402 – SIN – BKK

I am fortunate to be sitting in seat 50H, an aisle seat on the friendly Boeing 777-200 ER flight from Singapore to Bangkok.

The ambience on entering the plane is refreshing. Lovely Thai music piping through the overhead speakers and smiling flight attendants make it a very warm welcome.
I have so much space in front of me I almost feel sorry form those that purchased extra leg room. As a temporary Star Alliance Gold Turkish Airlines ‘Miles and Smiles’ member this seat was given to me as a complimentary benefit. And I am flying on Thai Airways. How I love Airline alliances!
The flight itself is only 2 hours and during the flight we are served a heavy breakfast – choice of standard Western or Asian Seafood noodles – the latter which I choose. It come with a deliciously buttery warm croissant which I enjoy with even more butter and strawberry jam. Carb overload for the day!
I also spend my time watching ‘The Boss’, one of the few new release feature films available on the AV system. As it is such a short flight I only get to see half of it but look forward to the rest on the return leg.
