I am used to going to the left with my previous Oneworld Sapphire status (Business Class) but now having Emerald it is to the right for me (1st Class).

Before I even enter the lounge I am escorted to a restaurant where I am proffered a menu with a selection of dishes and drinks. I’m not really hungry, but decide on a salad, Filet Mignon, and Trifle for dessert, with a glass of sparkling.

  
After the meal, I enter the lounge which itself is quite empty and I become bored very quickly so read, surf the net on my devices, and take a shower whilst I wait to board. Gosh I spoilt…
