Flight Review: SQ830 – SIN – PVG

My flight to Shanghai is delayed by 50 minutes – a bad start.

I am seating in row 36C – my preferred aisle seat on the squashy, limited leg-room Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft. It is going to be a crappy 5 hour flight – I can just feel it as I sit down. The only saving grace will hopefully be my Kosher meal, a couple of Singapore Slings, and the Kris Flyer entertainment system to keep me occupied.

Watching ‘Last Man Standing’. OK. Alcohol starting to work after a Singapore Sling and now a Dry Martini.
Getting hungry…

It finally comes and it is the same salmon meal I have had 10 times before. Not complaining, but would love to try beef or have the chicken again. Funnily enough the PVG – SIN flight next week has no Kosher meal option, so I have chosen seafood instead.

A Baileys would go down well now so I order one. Nice.

All in all not a bad flight considering it is a delayed departure and practically zero leg-room.

Rating: 7/10.
