What a quaint little hotel this is – and so incredibly convenient to Kyoto Station – right across the road!
My Semi-double room would have to be the smallest I have ever stayed at, and it is so narrow that the bed is basically the width of the room. But that’s OK as Kyoto is a tourist’s paradise and this hotel has been booked just for sleeping.
The bathroom is compact as well, yet has a bath/shower and even a bidet attached to the toilet!
All guests receive a complimentary entrance ticket to Kyoto Tower – 95 metres high with 180 degree sweeping views of the city. There is also the opportunity to visit the bath house on B3 for a discounted entry fee if 400 yen (but even at that price bit worth it if you will visiting a hot spring as part of your trip).
So all up, considering I am only sleeping here, and that it is only across the road from JR Kyoto station – this place is a steal at only 6500 yen.
Highly recommended!
