I am always impressed with SQ flights – excellent service and amenities.

Although I have selected seat 34K (aisle) online, I am allowed to swap my seat to row 31 (exit row) as soon as the cabin doors shut. I have a pick of 3 so choose the middle seat. The extra-leg room makes for a pleasant and comfortable flight.

I have decided to buy a watch duty-free – something I have not done for years, but a couple of week’s ago on my flight back from Myanmar, my AV screen wasn’t working, and received a $75 cheque to use on inflight shopping which I have used on this flight. And – a 10% discount with my Amex Kris-flyer card! So $37.50 for a $125 duty-free watch is pretty good value!

The flight itself is much longer than I thought – 6 hours, so I sit back and watch 3 movies.

The meal is Seafood – nothing special, but tastes good nonetheless. A Singapore Sling, Red wine, Baileys, and Cognac allow me to relax 🙂
